INNOVATION: Silane-based FBR-produced granular silicon

GCL has been intensely involved in the polysilicon industry for 15 years, given full play to its advantages, explored the R&D of silane-based FBR technology, and acquired the FBR patent and technical team from American enterprise SunEdison, Inc. Currently, it has successfully achieved the commercial mass production of granular silicon. TOPCon Technology

More Efficiency

TOPCon cells convert more sunlight than P-type cells, resulting in higher cell and module efficiency. TOPCon cells can achieve an efficiency of 28% (PERC cell maximum efficiency is about 24%).

Improved Low Light Performance

TOPcon modules are more efficient in low light conditions, which extends the period of electricity generation during the day and improves the performance of the installation over time.

Lower Degradation

TOPCon modules have less power degradation in the first year and 30 years of PV panel use compared to PERC panels

Lower temperature coefficient

TOPCon cells have better resistance to high temperatures, which means that the efficiency of TOPCon modules will be higher in hot climates compared to PERC modules

Bifaciality rate

TOPCon cells have better power increase in bifacial modules than PERC modules. It is an important factor because bifacial solar modules are becoming more and more popular in the market.
